Game Rules & Guide
Master the mechanics of classic puzzles and learn how to wield blur attacks to defeat your rivals in the 1v1 real-time multiplayer arena.
🧠 Classic Sudoku Rules
Standard Sudoku is played on a 9x9 grid, divided into nine 3x3 blocks. The objective is simple: fill all empty cells with digits from 1 to 9 such that every number appears exactly once in each row, column, and 3x3 block.
- Each row must contain all numbers from 1 to 9 without repetition.
- Each column must contain all numbers from 1 to 9 without repetition.
- Each 3x3 sub-grid (box) must contain all numbers from 1 to 9 without repetition.
- Every puzzle starts with pre-filled clues and has exactly one unique mathematical solution.
💡 Note-Taking (Pencil Mode)
Use the **Pencil** button to input candidate numbers in cells. This helps you narrow down options for empty cells. Elite premium members enjoy unlimited pencil markings, while standard players have a notes limit that can be replenished or unlocked.
📊 Difficulty Distribution Clue Counts
Sudoku Grid features 6 meticulously calibrated difficulty distributions. As the difficulty level increases, fewer initial clues are provided, requiring more advanced logical deduction strategies:
| Difficulty | Target Clues Range | Complexity & Strategies |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | 38 to 45 clues | Basic elimination, single candidate searches. |
| Medium | 32 to 37 clues | Naked/Hidden singles, basic box-line reductions. |
| Medium Hard | 28 to 31 clues | Naked pairs/triples, pointing pairs. |
| Hard | 24 to 27 clues | X-Wing patterns, hidden pairs, advanced intersections. |
| Master | 21 to 23 clues | Swordfish, XY-Wing, forcing chains. |
| Unbeatable | 17 to 20 clues | Mathematical limit of Sudoku clues. Requires advanced logic chains. |
⚡ 1v1 Multiplayer Blitz Rules
Multiplayer Blitz matches are fast-paced, real-time 1v1 logical duels. Both players solve the exact same puzzle layout on their own screens. The player who scores the highest points or completes the grid first wins the match.
- Time Limit: Each match lasts 2 minutes and 45 seconds. A countdown timer ticks at the top.
- Scoring System:
- Correct Fill: +10 points for every correct number input.
- Incorrect Fill (Mistake): -5 points. Making mistakes also ticks your mistakes counter (max 3 allowed).
- AI Bot Fallback: If no online player is found within the matchmaking queue, you are instantly paired with a simulation bot. The bot respects game boundaries, solves cells in real-time, and can trigger and receive all blitz attacks just like a human opponent.
⚔️ Attack Mechanics: Blurs and freezes
Solving sectors triggers negative status updates (blitz attacks) on your opponent's interface instantly:
- 1. Box Blur: When you complete any 3x3 block on your grid, that matching 3x3 grid sector is blurred on your opponent's screen for a short duration. They cannot select cells or read cell values in the blurred sector.
- 2. Line Blur: Completing any row or column blurs the corresponding row/column on your opponent's board, obstructing their visual solve paths.
-
3. Number Lock (3s Freeze): Solving all 9 occurrences of a digit across the grid freezes that digit on the opponent's keypad for 3 seconds. The key shows a countdown (e.g.
3s 🧊) and input is disabled.
